Nanyuki Town – Sirimon Gate- Oldmoses camp- Mackinders Valley Viewpoint
The Mount Kenya day trip would involve either driving from Nanyuki to Sirimon gate 2650m and hike for 5 hrs to Oldmoses Camp 3300m and back or drive to Oldmoses Camp 3300m and hike for yet 5 hrs to the Mackinders valley viewpoint 3850m and back to oldmoses.
The scenery is spectacular and on a lucky day you can get to see a bit of wildlife mainly different types of monkeys and antelopes with alot of birds as well.
